Article Assistant– Full Time (2 Year)
Job Description: Shubham S K Jain & Associates Chartered Accountants is looking for motivated and diligent CA Article Assistants to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of accounting, audit, taxation, and compliance while working in a dynamic and professional environment. As a CA Article Assistant, you will be involved in diverse assignments that enhance your technical and practical knowledge, preparing you for a successful career in Chartered Accountancy.
Responsibilities:
- Audit & Assurance: Assist in conducting statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for clients from diverse industries. Perform analytical procedures, test of controls, and substantive testing under supervision to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Taxation: Support in preparing and filing Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for individuals, firms, and corporations. Assist in TDS and GST compliance, GST returns, reconciliations, and attending to GST and Income Tax assessments and appeals.
- Accounting & Financial Statements: Engage in bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and maintenance of accounting records for clients. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and assist in monthly reconciliations.
- ROC Compliance: Aid in handling various Registrar of Companies (RoC) compliance tasks, such as filing of annual returns, company formation, and managing other statutory documentation to meet Companies Act requirements.
- Client Interaction: Assist in understanding client requirements, gathering data, and providing preliminary insights. Maintain professional relationships and assist in client query resolutions.
- Research and Documentation: Conduct research on tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance regulations. Prepare reports and documentation related to audit findings, tax filings, and client work.
Requirements:
- Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy course under ICAI, with completion of CA Foundation and Intermediate levels.
- Both groups of CA Inter cleared with necessary trainings if mandated by ICAI.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and auditing standards.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Tally & Busy).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Chartered Accountant (CA)– Paid Assistant
Job Description: Shubham S K Jain & Associates Chartered Accountants is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as a Paid Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA professional to work in a dynamic, client-focused environment, assisting with a wide range of services, including auditing, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The role will provide you with the chance to work on high-profile assignments, engage with clients, and play an integral part in managing the firm’s operations.
Responsibilities:
- Audit & Assurance: Lead and assist in conducting audits for clients in various industries, including statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and special audits. Manage audit teams, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Income Tax & Taxation: Handle corporate and individual taxation, including preparing and filing Income Tax Returns (ITRs), assisting with tax planning, TDS and GST compliance, and managing tax assessments and appeals. Provide advisory services related to tax optimization and regulatory changes.
- GST Compliance & Advisory: Lead the preparation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns. Provide clients with advice on GST compliance, assist in resolving GST-related disputes, and ensure timely filings to minimize penalties.
- Financial Reporting & Statement Preparation: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy in the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements. Provide insights to clients on financial performance and areas of improvement.
- Corporate Compliance & RoC Filings: Ensure that clients are compliant with RoC filings, such as annual returns, company formation, and other statutory filings under the Companies Act. Provide advisory support on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
- Client Management & Advisory: Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, offering strategic advice and solutions tailored to their business needs. Handle client queries related to accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and financial planning.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior team members and CA Article Assistants, providing guidance on technical matters, and assisting with their professional development.
- Research and Documentation: Conduct in-depth research on tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients. Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings and client requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid ICAI membership.
- Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in auditing, taxation, GST, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, income tax laws, and GST regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), accounting software (Tally, Busy, QuickBooks), and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
